A brief Indroduction to the Honda 919 / Honda Hornet CB900F Motorcycle
|
Although the Honda 600 hornet was available a few years earlier, Honda
released the all new Honda CB900F in 2002, since then it has grown increasingly
popular among motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a great ride. The Honda
CB900F, also known as the Honda Hornet in europe, or the Honda 919 CB900F,
has lived up to the Honda CB900F reputation as a well built, reliable
Japanese bike that has great response and no lack of power. And of course
it is extremely exciting to drive too. The design of the new Honda 919 CB900F's is reminiscent of that of the
earlier generation bikes built in the early 1980's. In fact, if you
are to sit them side by side, you would notice many things that are
alike. |
|
However, the new Honda 919 CB900F's are packing several new goodies
that cater to the modern motorcycle rider, while maintaining the same
concept that gave the Honda CB900F it's name; a "naked" street
bike for motorcyclists who enjoy city riding, but want something with
raw power that matches it's tough style.
The Honda design team got it right on the money. This is a bike that
is ready to go. Any time, any place. The Honda 919 CB900F's CBR900RR
FireBlade SuperSport engine delivers the goods pumping out 109bhp on
it's sturdy 194kg Honda Hornet Chassis-based body.
Today the Honda 919 CB900F Hornet is a great light compact bike for
Honda lovers who still want some power, and to look good while they're
delivering it. It's a bike you could take home to your mother, but then
turn around and rip up the street behind her back.
